Llantysilio Community Council - Although sheep outnumber residents in the valley, the area covered by Llantysilio Community Council is very large. The boundary extends from the top of the Horseshoe Pass in the north to Pentrefelin in the south. In the east it includes part of Sun Bank, near Trevor, and extends to Rhewl in the west. It also includes Pentredwr, Abbey Dingle, Llandynan, Eglwyseg, Llidiart Annie and a large section of the Panorama.
Badge of Office - At the top of this page is the emblem of Llantysilio Community Council. It makes up the badge of office which is worn by the chairman of the Council. The emblem itself if very old and represents mainstay aspects of the valley. As Mother Church to the locality, Valle Crucis Abbey takes precedent at the centre top in the form of a Christian cross. The tree represents the large acreage of surrounding woodland and the folded sheaf of corn represents farming.
